Roman amphitheater ruins among Soviet era experimental housing blocks

The Roman amphitheater (2nd Century AD), in Obuda, is said to have been larger than the Coliseum in Rome, built for the military legion stationed in Acquincum (nearby where more extensive ruins exist) and able to seat 12,000 spectators.  The ruins are surrounded by prefab apartment buildings from the 1950s through the 1970s.
